Wrexham ">[ˈwrɛksam]) is a large town in north Wales, between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley alongside the border with England. In Wrexham County Borough, it is the largest town in north Wales and an administrative, commercial, retail and educational centre.

At the 2011 Census, Wrexham had a population of 61,603, the fourth largest urban area in Wales.
